Officers}
Paul D. Wilson, President
Overview
Paul Wilson has worked in the computer industry for fifteen years. He has performed the
entire development life cycle on a mid-sized system, and he has maintained and upgraded a
large system. He has worked in client-server, mainframe, and file-server environments. He
has used Oracle, C++, C, SQL, PL/SQL, OCI, COBOL, and assembly language extensively and he
is highly familiar with Java and with data-management issues. He has a B.A. in Mathematics
and an M.B.A. in Finance.
Education
MBA, Finance from California State University at Hayward, 1999
Coursework completed for an MS, Applied Mathematics, California State University at Los Angeles
BA, Mathematics from University of California at San Diego, 1986
Lori Gardner Wilson, CEO
Overview
Lori Gardner Wilson graduated from U.C. Berkeley in 1984 with a Bachelor's in Geophysics.
Because seismic studies required large volumes of data and a firm foundation in statistical
analysis, a large fraction of Ms. Gardner's studies involved the development of mathematical
algorithms for the computer.
Ms. Wilson learned more about advanced computer modeling while working at Chevron
processing seismic data and was able to transfer those skills to a career developing
environmental database applications. Ms. Wilson wrote an Environmental Data Management
System for EA Engineering, wrote major revisions to a Laboratory Information Management
(LIM) System for Superior Analytical Laboratory, implemented and tested a new environmental
system for Jacob's Engineering Group, and is currently the technical lead for Pennant Systems,
Inc., specializing in scientific computer solutions.

Contract Summary
Concord Naval Weapons Station Concord
- Designed and implemented munitions data warehouse
- Oracle ETL development
- Sybase ETL development
- Proposed, analyzed, designed, implemented, and maintained a 24/7 payroll system
- 45,000 lines of code - two interactive systems and one ETL system.
- Coordinated operations with management, payroll, mainframe operations, and network
personnel.
Contract Summary
U.S. Forest Service
- Oracle ETL development for Forest Resource Database (FRDB), a timber resource/land use system
- Migrated approximtely 30 area and volume reports in the FRDB from Oracle*Reports to
PL/SQL generated HTML.
- Developed the Forest Inventory and Analysis System (FIAS), a C++ application. FIAS
tracks and stores sample tree and vegetation inventories. A Borland C++ front-end
interacts with an ODBC back-end to ETL text files into Oracle data warehouse.
- Developed ETL data audit functionality
- Programmed an ETL AML script to transport ArcView spatial data and load Oracle data warehouse.
- Migrated an Microsoft Access human resource application to an Access front-end and an
Oracle back-end consisting of PL/SQL trigger operations off Oracle tables.
Contract Summary
Jacobs Engineering
- Led implementation of Oracle Data Hub and Environmental Data Warehouse.
- Designed and developed ETL to extract, transport and load Oracle Data Warehouse
- Developed and tuned reports using SQL, SQL*Plus, SQL*Forms, SQL*Loader, and ReportWriter.
- Defined Beta Testing processes.
- Organized the training of technicians through Ph.D. level on the new system.
Contract Summary
Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory
- Designed and developed the CWAC Gateway to handle communications between the Argus
security system and a central database in Washington. Used the Borland C++ Builder.
- Communicated with Argus via RS-232 serial IO. Used SQL*Net and Borland's BDE to
communicate with the central database.
- Developed a GUI-based interactive test system to simulate Argus requests on PCs.
- Developed a mid-level serial-IO package for general use.
- Developed an automated dialer for the NT Console system, using Teltone's T-311.
Contract Summary
McLaren/Hart Chemrisk
- Developed a data hub to extract data from multiple laboratories, engineering and government
entities, transport the data via ftp and loaded a biological land use data warehouse to track
the fate and transport of various environmental contaminants and the impact of those contaminants
on at risk species.
- Beta-tested Pennant's environmental data hub. Pennant's Data Hub generates
site-plan summary reports, automated chains of custody and sample labels to
support field work, as well as automated lab login. Samples are tracked under the
same ID number from the field, through the lab, and into the project repository
using legally defensible data ETL protocols. ETL functionality includes
automated validation and DQO analysis.
- Enhanced the Netware/Oracle data warehouse: updated project schemas, developed Oracle*Forms,
and Oracle*Reports, SQL*Plus queries.
- Developed a data warehouse backup system and a security system.
- Documented all aspects of data management: processes, hardware and software,
existing functionality, and project requirements.
Contract Summary
Platinum Technologies
- Designed and developed a logical backup and recovery system for Oracle data warehouses using C,
ODBC, and the Oracle Call Interface (OCI).
- Designed and developed a prototype physical backup and recovery system for Oracle
data warehouses from project proposal through completion, working closely with management,
QA, and marketing.
